We recently had a terrible experience with one of their agents, Deb Thorfinnson at Berkshire Hathaway in Scottsdale Arizona. Deb does not pay attention to detail and isn't willing to own up to when she makes a mistake. She's also very unprofessional. We bought a home recently and she represented the sellers. She allowed the sellers to steal a fixed chandelier from the home, as it was not listed as an excluded fixture on the contract. We didn't want to delay the sale, so we took her word for it that she would come through since it was her mistake for leaving the fixture off the contract. She promised to give us a $200 gift card for her mistake and never came through on her promise.
We arrived on the property after closing, but found out some of the paperwork was delayed due to a clerical error with the mortgage company. We sat outside on the street in our car with a friend of ours waiting for the call from the clerk to tell us the sale had been recorded. We soon found out the sale was delayed by a day so we left and planned to come back for the key the next day. My friend stayed behind to take a phone call and was parked outside the house, on the public street. Deb ended up driving to the house for some reason and saw them parked on the street. She obnoxiously knocked on their window and continued to berate them for sitting outside and then decided to interrogate them. They explained why they were there and that they hadn't gone in the house or done anything wrong. They were merely parked on the city owned street.
She's rude and dishonest. I'd never recommend her. And also a closing tip, if you ever do business with her make sure everything is in the contract or it's likely she won't follow through.
