  • I'll say 4.5 stars. I had a very special guest who visited me from Japan and she wasn't really interested in gambling but wanted to see the Strip and be in the middle of all the action. So logically, Vdara seemed like a good choice. It paid off. It was a staycation for me and we had a very comfortable time here. This hotel is very modern, clean and most importantly, the service was outstanding for the most part. The bars downstairs and the eateries are very convenient. The whole ambience was very upscale and we loved the feeling. The crowd didn't seem nearly as typically annoying as most strip hotel tourist crowds as well. The room itself was beautiful. Similar feel to Aria, except more spacious. There are two TVs inside so you don't have to fight over what to watch. There's also a dishwasher, stove and microwave as well. But they don't leave any appliances (such as a pot for water, cups) or silverware inside the room, so you'll have to ask for them. And you have to ask for slippers as well. I guess that would be my only gripe about this place. I think these things should be automatically provided. The spa was gorgeous. We got the signature 'Espa Escape' service there and, my goodness, it was one of the more memorable services I've experienced on the Las Vegas Strip. Parking at this hotel is valet-only, so don't show up here and drive around in circles looking for the self-parking. Overall, prices were actually very reasonable as well. We stayed over Super Bowl Weekend and it was very well worth it. Who cares if there is no casino? If you really have to gamble, just walk to the Aria which is connected internally. Or take the tram to Bellagio.
