  • Goyemon is one of the best sushi spots in Vegas. They have a huge assortment of rolls and make all kinds of nigiri. When it comes to seafood, there's not a lot that I'm willing to eat so I appreciate their large selection of menu items to choose from. I personally love their spider hand rolls, the sexy girl roll, and yellowtail (hamachi) nigiri. They also have specials written on the chalkboard for things like salmon collar and yellowtail collar which I highly recommend. When Goyemon first opened, they had some really unique appetizers and amazing desserts. Over the past year or so, these specialties have almost disappeared altogether. Their dessert selection is nowhere near as good as it used to be. They used to have things like green tea creme brulee and chocolate mouse in addition to the typical sushi house selection of ice cream and mochi. I know its a little silly call out a sushi place for its dessert, but it was one of the things that was great about this place that set it apart from its competitors. Anyhow, back to the sushi. They are a great option for AYCE (all you can eat). If you think you'll eat more than 2 orders of rolls, then you might as well go AYCE. It includes appetizers, all the nigiri, the rolls, ice cream, and mochi. As Goyemon is a very popular spot, the wait time for dinner can often be well over 30 minutes. If you come with a large group or eat here often, be sure to ask for a stamp card. From experience, I know you can use the stamp card at the two Sushi Mon locations as well. If the wait at Goyemon is too long, I'd recommend calling the Sushi Mon on Sahara and checking their wait time as the menus are exactly the same, though the specials might vary.
