On the forth of July we became owners of a very pregnant stray cat named Charlotte we took her to our regular vet (won't tell the name of that place but let's just say a big mess).
We knew of VCA Northern from a family member and saw they had a coupon for office exams for up to two pets. Due to being skittish, we had to speak with Raymie a lot to make/cancel appointments since trying to catch Charlotte was not going well
When we arrived Deborah the receptionist acknowledged us with a smile as she was on a call when done she took our paperwork from our vet and had us wait in the lobby.
We were called back exactly at our appointment time (that in it self was fantastic) by Desiree, the vet tech. Desiree was so gentle with Charlotte and knew she was skittish in a little while talking to her calmed her down. Her patient care was exceptional. Snickerdoodle was a whole different story but she didn't have a difficult time with him.
Then Dr. Hammerich came in very pleasant introduced herself then examined both cats and made appropriate recommendations for both . She was so thorough researching what antibiotics for Charlotte can have for an ear infection due to her pregnancy, made an appointment to a cardio vet for Charlottes murmur.
Last but not least the manager Tammy , I let her know what a great staff she has and her too. She also answered a lot of kitten birthing questions , made food suggestions. Etc. I feel very confident my pets are getting the best care possible at VCA NORTHERN
