  • Boca Park is a cool older shopping and dining place just east of Summerlin. Spreading out on the northeast corner of Charleston and Rampart, it stands in a kind of contrast with its newer and shinier neighbor immediately to the north (Tivoli Village), but don't look past what's here. A quick list of some of the places I frequent, many of which are unique to this side of town, and perhaps to the entire Vegas Valley. The layout of the place is fairly open and there's generally lots of available parking throughout the shopping area. - REI: A nice, large store with all the usual stuff you'd expect from this awesome recreational/outdoor equipment coop. There's another one in Henderson. Tons of parking right across from the store. - Desert Rose Florist: I totally love this florist. Convenient and easy to get to, but you can drive right by it since it's sort of tucked away among some other smaller shops. I've never had a problem with anything I've bought from them. Flowers and greenery last a long time and the folks that work there are truly in the "nicest people I know" category. - Total Wine: Some love it, some hate it, but it's right there and easy to get to. Shares a massive parking lot with REI. - Sambalatte Coffee: There are others in town, but this one is ours (if you live on the west side). - Grimaldi's Pizza: Thin crust, NY-style pizza. Eat it in the restaurant...it's too thin to take home. (It loses it's heat fast.) - Boca Park Animal Hospital: One of the nicest veterinarians we've ever used. Super clean and wonderful veterinarians and staff. We take our critter here and even know people on the north end of town who drive to Boca to use this vet. - Three Angry Wives: a tasty pub/tavern. Parking is tight, but the food is consistently tasty. - Target: Because sometimes you just need to get to one of these big stores. - Starbucks: In case the need hits you while shopping. Those are just a few we frequent; there are so many more stores of all kinds. (I still need to write reviews for several of the places I've mentioned above--definitely on my to-do list!) So pop in and check it all out over at Boca Park Fashion Village.
