We went there for brunch on a Sunday. My first impressions were very positive. The decor is wonderful and a lot of effort is put into making the place feel cozy and familiar. Everything on the menu sounds delicious and reminds of good old homemade cooking.
It might be worth noting that there are no menus. Instead, everything is written on a chalkboard near the counter. It might be neat if you happen to be seated nearby, but we were in another room, so we had to go stand in the aisle between other tables while making our choice. Not the end of the world obviously, but not the most practical.
Our service was average at best. We had to wait over 30 minutes for our orders. And by the time the 5 of us received their food, some had long finished.
It was delicious, but very expensive. Oh and did I mention this place was extremely hipster? Because it is. A lot. But I guess it fits the location.
