  • We stopped by Luxx once the line died down a bit and they stopped charging a cover - who charges a cover on Monday nights anyhow? After spending a substantial amount of time next door at Sky Lounge, which was relatively empty for the most part on a Monday night after the Chris Brown Concert, we walked into Luxx to see what all the hype was about and to see why everyone was waiting in line to get in .... Lol turns out we weren't missing much - for some reason everyone just happened to choose his place over the place next door, but I really didn't see much of a difference between the two.... I am giving Luxx a solid two star rating just as I did for their neighbor next door - there just wasn't anything great about the place - it was just your standard smaller bar/lounge ... The bartenders didn't seem any better here than @ sky lounge and this place didn't appear to have any drink specials going on either nor did they offer any complimentary anything for coming here on a Monday night after the show. Either that or the bartenders didn't tell us about any specials if there were some going on ... The atmosphere was alright more of an urban crowd and the music was comparable to next door. Luxx doesn't look any better or worse than Sky Lounge ... Once again we made our own fun here, but for the most part it was just okay/mediocre - there was nothing going on here to make me want to come back.
