| - Cheap clinic, cheap everything!
Note : New pet owner, didn't know much... (At the time)
I took my kitten here thinking that it was an "okay for it's price" clinic. Biggest mistake ever thinking that it was even "okay." The front desk employees were pretty rude to the customers that were ahead of me, (They were pretty rude to me too.) and they were working at a turtle's pace.
After waiting for about 30 minutes, I got sent to one of the rooms. The room was unreal, and not in a good way. It had white florescent light with a dirty looking floor. (Looks like something out of a nightmare!) Then, just waited for another 45 minutes until a vet finally showed up. (Okay fine, I can wait. I'm patient enough.)
The vet checked on my kitten and said that she wasn't getting enough liquids, and said that I needed to pay money for a blood test and a day at a pet hospital, (Which she estimated was about $700.) or leave my kitten there at the clinic. (BUT AT MY OWN RISK, BECAUSE IF ANYTHING HAPPENS THEY CAN'T AND WONT DO ANYTHING)
I felt extremely rushed at the options that were provided. So being the worried pet owner, I asked a few questions about alternatives. The vet said yes, I can inject fluids and that's it. (But obviously she wanted me to go with the WAY more expensive option.) I told her to just inject the fluids and I will come back the next day for a check up after the fluids were injected. Her attitude towards me became even more rude than it already was. She took my kitten to the back room, told me to stay in the horror room and all I hear is my poor little kitten screaming! (If I didn't know any better, I would have never guessed that a kitten could ever make those sounds!)
I felt so bad for bringing my kitten here. It felt more like an exorcism took place, rather than a place to heal my poor kitten.
After taking my kitten home, I did some research on the internet that could have saved me A LOT of money. I felt so ripped off. My cat just needed some water or just some techniques to help her adjust to her new bowl.
I felt so sad at the clinic when the vet said that my kitten was very unhealthy, but it was all just a lie. (How could you lie to your customers?) Taking my kitten here once, was one time too many.
In the end, I am just glad that my kitten is completely healthy!
As a pet owner saying this to other pet owners, please don't bring your pet here if you love your cute fluffy (or hairless) companion. Spend a little extra money and go to a better clinic, your pet will love you for it!
