| - I'm a big fan of the Yorkville area, but I tend to prefer the Park Hyatt over anything else. That said, I stayed at the Toronto Marriott Bloor for work, and was pleasantly surprised by just how fantastic the stay turned out to be.
I stayed on the 2nd floor, and was able to access the lobby WiFi, which was quite strong - strong enough for me to FaceTime with my family.
The staff were SUPER friendly and accommodating, and checked me in early and upgraded me to a king room.
They do happy hours to thank their guests (I tried a cookie and it was quite tasty), and best of all, the hotel is situated directly above the subway and the underground shops.
The rooms are big and comfy, and the hotel has everything you might need, short of a gift shop (the shops have a convenience store, and they do have a little canteen-style pantry).
