| - What a great little coffee shop in Stow, right off the highway!
I stopped in on nice quiet Thursday evening and it was honestly busier than I thought it would be, but after having some of their coffee, I understand why! However, all of the patrons were hard at work or chatting quietly - they played some nice atmospheric music at a quiet enough level to work.
Nervous dog is unassuming, right off the highway, but a treat! When you walk in the door, the environment is warm and friendly with burnt yellow walls and doggie decor galore! From a doggie statue doing yoga and doggie art on the walks coupled with coffee antiques, this is my kinda place!
Now, I ALWAYS go for the fancy coffee drinks and they ALWAYS make my stomach hurt with how sugary they are. I decided to take a chance on one of their St. Patrick's Day flavors - the St. Patrick's Day mocha with Irish cream and I was so pleased! It wasn't too overpowered with sugary syrup, I could still taste the coffee, and it was cheaper than a comparable drink at Starbucks and tasted way better! My boyfriend had a cold nitro brew served in a Pilsner glass with their cute lil logo and loved it.
We were so happy, we left with some whole bean coffee to take home - the Hylander Grogg and Peanut butter cup. I HYGHLY recommend the Hylander Grogg as it is my new favorite coffee! If you're in the area or passing by with a taste for great coffee try something new and - stop in! They also have a drive thru and assorted board games inside the shop.
In addition, they are DOG friendly! In the sense that you can bring your pups on the patio in the back when it's warm enough outside, just not inside. They also have doggie treats! The only complaint I have is that the baristas were not that knowledgeable about the shop or their coffee, or even the prices, but they seemed fairly new to the job and were nice enough.
