| - For my first meal of 2018, I came here. I didn't know anything about it other than it had frog legs on the menu, and I wanted them. It's in a good location not far from 215. I got there around 4:30PM so it wasn't too busy, yet, but happy hour is between 3-6PM. I sat at the bar and the bartender was friendly and almost too accommodating, but without being pushy. This was appreciative. It almost felt like he was being a good host at his house, rather than an employee behind the bar.
Aside from the frog legs, I saw they also had escargot (which I also like) but I opted for the cheese and charcuterie board instead. The frog legs didn't take long at all. They were good but maybe just a tad bland, though that's less of the frog and more of the batter surrounding it. I would have like a little more flavor, personally. The cheese and meat board was excellent. There was a nice variety of meat, cheese, pate, fruit, and olives. On top of that, combining different things yielded so many different flavors. Highly recommended.
While it isn't necessarily close to my house, I'm definitely going to come back, especially for happy hour. Prices on most of the menu are reduced, including beer and wine.
