| - If it wasn't for Yelp, I would've drove right passed this joint and missed out on some bomb huevos rancheros. My friend and I were trying to find breakfast at noon one day and we happened to be around Harlow's Cafe so I was like, "why not?"
This place is a small little place; no fancy signs or anything. So if you were to drive by and determine a place to eat by the signs of restaurants, then you would've missed out. The cafe is surrounded by one sided windows which sucked at first because I didn't even know if they were open or anything. However, since the parking lot was practically all filled up, it should be open.
When the door opens, welcome home. There is such a warm, mama's kitchen feel there.
My friend and I waited for like 5 minutes because they were pretty full. However, we had pretty decent seats. It was nice.
The menu consists of not just breakfast, but lunch and dinner, too! :O just kidding. I was drawn the the breakfast side of the menu because, well, the first meal you should eat is breakfast. :) I am always down for breakfast; any day, any time!
Anyway, I had the huevos rancheros (I wish i can choose sausage patty rather than ham...I know it isn't traditional but I prefer it) and my friend had the egg sandwich. I was pretty surprised with the portion of his sandwich; it was pretty big for a nice price. I wouldn't change my huevos for no sandwich. :D
I am surprised I didn't know this place existed, especially in Tempe. I would be coming here more often; more likely when I go into Tempe.
