  • While traveling in the area, we saw a huge billboard advertising QUILTS. Although we were on a tight time budget, the anticipation of finding a new quilt to freshen a bedroom was too inviting so we took the 30 minute detour. DO NOT BOTHER!!! This place has NO QUILTS for sale, but is actually a FABRIC STORE!!! When i asked for the QUILTS, an employee lethargically grunted that they don't have many, but I should look for samples being sold. It seems they sell their samples, but (1) they had quilted wallhangings and (2) if they had 15 offered for sale, I could not find them! I cannot tell you how irate and disappointed I am.... Adding to our experience was the EXTRA TRAFFIC we hit returning to the highway and wasting even more of our time!!! IMO: advertising as a quilt shop when they are really selling FABRIC is tantamount to a GROCERY store advertising itself as a RESTAURANT! Oh yes... Let me not forget to mention the BIG ASS DOG that followed me up the steps and sniffed my crotch while his (male caretaker) just watched and smiled. Over all .... GREAT PLACE! NOT!!!
