I went here for my first time on Saturday December 19th, 2015. It is located in the Old Town Scottsdale area so parking was a little bit poopy. The atmosphere is dark, elegant, yet cuddly, just like I like it! We had reservations so we got sat as soon as we arrived.
The service here was AWESOME. Best service I have had so far. Our server answered any questions we had, offered suggestions on the menu and was very knowledgeable, and checked on us regularly. Then, there were server assistants/runners/bussers/whatever you call them that would come by and take your dirty plate and made sure you had a new clean plate and clean silverware. At one point I remember just barely setting my plate down and someone magically appeared out of no where and removed my dirty dish. WOW! Okay enough about the stellar service. Let's talk food.
We did the whole shebang. I ordered a glass of Educated Guess (Cabernet Sauvignon) and my friend ordered a cocktail (forgot which one). As an appetizer, we tried the Butcher's Board. YAY! Cheese and meat! It was a very neat experience trying the different things on the board. We finished that and out came our entree's. I ordered the Prime New York Steak with a side of mac and cheese. (I'm drooling and I haven't even begun to explain the heavenly flavor). So, my meat came with pt. reyes blue cheese butter. It was delicioso! The mac and cheese was bomb. The meat was EXACTLY how I ordered it: medium. It was so tender and juicy! My friend ordered the blackened ribeye with mac and cheese. He said his was amazing as well. He ordered dessert to go but I didn't try any because I was full. I bet it was amazing, though.
This place is a little bit pricy but it was worth it. Everything was beyond anything I've ever had. When this college kid can save up some more money she will definitely return.
