Ever since I discovered this place last summer, it's been my favorite midtown coffee shop. I am not a huge fan of sweets but their almond croissants are just irresistible! They serve excellent cappuccino and latte to go with it. In addition to different kinds of pastries, they offer a variety of salads and sandwiches but I haven't tried them personally.
The atmosphere is bright and relaxing, but the seating arrangement may not work well for big parties (more than 6 people). They have a beautiful back patio which could be the most romantic spot in autumn. Unfortunately, they don't do a good job at its upkeep and the true potential of this patio is mostly unrealized. I have been there twice in the fall, enjoying the sun and yellow leaves all around me and noticed a few customers who didn't choose to sit in the patio simply because the tables were not properly set and they were covered in dead leaves. Mind you, I was secretly pleased not to share this tranquility with other people:)
Another minor issue is the ordering process. There is no real lineup which gets confusing when the place is busy. The friendly and nice staff do a good job at bringing some order to it though.
