I was looking forward to this tour. I woke up extremely, got dressed and headed to the entrance to wait for the bus at 6am for a 6:10 pickup. I was at the bus stop and noticed that I was alone so I called the company at 6:08am. The lady who answered said I should double check with the hotel staff since the bus was running behind. I hung up and did just that, returning to the location that I was at. 6:21am I miss a call from the company which I return simultaneously. After explaining my situation to the lady who answered and getting inadequate feedback, she transfers me to dispatch. By the time I am speaking to dispatch, its probably 6:23am. Dispatch reiterates that the bus has left and will not be turning around (problem #1: why call the customer after the driver has left? Don't you call before to give the customer a chance to make the tour?). She then tells me I have to take a cab to there base, at my expense. Now I am fuming because I reached out to this company well before the pickup time and they were unhelpful. Now that I have missed this bus, they are completely dismissive. The dispatcher refused to issue a refund and said that she was going to process my groupon anyway (which she did). Thankfully, groupon was just as appalled as I was and refunded the ticket. I don't doubt that the tour itself would have been great but the customer service representative and dispatcher lack empathy and they are a poor representation of he company.
