| - Half the day I wonder is it too late for coffee? The other half I wonder is it too early for alcohol? Well, wonder no more, at Cider Corps, you can have both with their cold brew cider, Charlie Bravo!
Move over Angry Orchard and Redd's Apple Ale, Az finally has a craft cidery all of our very own! Cider Corps, which is veteran owned and operated, had 13 ciders on tap when we went (but it looked like they have room for 15 different ones). Some of the wide variety of flavors offered range from: MH84 aka Mango Gernade (mango-habanero), to General CHAIsenhower (24 Carrot's Chai Spice), to OPP: Operation Pumpkin Pie. My favorites ciders were Lady "in pink" Liberty (prickly pear) and Storm the Peach.
Prices are good -- $10 flights (that come with six 5 oz. pours), pints are $5-$6, and 32 oz growlers are $10-$11 plus $5 for the reusable bottle.
Cider Corps does not serve food or snacks but is food-friendly. We grabbed sandwiches from Worth Takeaway down the street before stopping in for drinks. We also saw a group bring in a huge bag of chips & salsa from Mango's and another table cheered when their pizza was delivered from downtown favorite Queen's.
Big shout out to the wonderful staff at Cider Corps for keeping us hydrated with plenty of waters for our whole table which was much appreciated!
Like another reviewer said the fifth star is on loan. They are new and it shows with some serious seating issues, bare walls, one tap station and only being open on Saturdays. But those are all easy fixes that can to be worked out with time. And I'm unable to give Cider Corps any less than 5 stars due to the sublime ciders and stellar service.
