December 23, 2015. My husband and I decide to buy a small 25 dollar Christmas tree to put up since we did not have one. We get home around 10 pm and we're opening up our new tree- LOW AND BEHOLD, NO STAND WITH THE TREE!! We instantly go back and as were walking through the door with the box, we don't even get a hello by the little blonde greeter, we get a "you can't return that. We're not doing returns." Well, all I want is an even exchange because of the obvious mis-packaging. I get told to speak to a Janet or Janeth (sp) at customer service. The 2 ladies at customer service looked at me like I had just violated them in every way possible after I told them my situation. "Our registers are off. Sorry." So you're telling me I'm going to celebrate my Christmas with a wonky ass tree because your manufacturing company messed up? Or you didn't fully check if it was a return and had everything in it? THEY LITERALLY JUST SHRUGGED AT ME. I do admit I left my receipt behind- but mind you, I didn't think there was going to be anything wrong with it in the first place. Long story short, after my appalling experience, the registers magically turned on and I finally got to exchange my 25 dollar tree (to the multi billion dollar company that is Walmart!) Thank you for your lack of care and empathy to your customers! Happy holidays!
