I was a little concerned about going to this park because every time my fiancee and I drove by, there was loads of screaming children. No offense, but that isn't my idea of a nice, relaxing time at the park. Either way, we finally went and I'm happy to say my first impression was wrong.
It is a beautiful park, and great for walking. The trails are really woodsy and shaded, so bug repellent might be good to mention. They were so quiet, you couldn't hear any outside noise or traffic. Many people go running but I personally wouldn't recommend it for running. If you're like me and need a lot of space and want to feel "free" so to speak, I wouldn't try and run the trails because some of them are very narrow and rocky. Not really ideal for two people running together.
I enjoyed seeing a lot of dogs and dog walkers, and overall I'd say this is a great place for a nice afternoon stroll.
