  • Positives: - Good deals on appliances and electronics, and provide free insulation. - large selection of organic fruits, vegetables, and meats. Both fresh and frozen. - large selection of prepared foods to choose from if needing meals on the go and fast meal prep. - good, cheap pizza in food court, and a large selection of cheap lunch options in the food court. - large selection of snacks, nuts, and bakery items. - wonderful store fresh cinnamon bread, try it out - often find online manufacturer coupons for items online - there are good deal on fresh lettuce and spinach - good deals on 24 hour fitness contracts if you buy the 2 year contract from Costco for the Sport clubs: 400 for 2 years, thus 16.66 per month. Good prices on alcohol if you buy 2 bottles. Negatives: - parking lot crowded on Saturdays, long lines to enter and exit the parking lot - Crowded inside Costco on Saturdays as well, one can barely more around - Fruits can be more expensive per lbs than at Smith's, so not all large quantities are deals. - many of the pre-made frozen food items are overly salty - the only option for all of the frozen fruits and most of the frozen vegetables are organic, so choosing the cheaper, regular frozen produce is not often an option - prepared frozen foods are not often very flavorful Costco is overall a good deal if you are buying for a large group of people or a family. If you are buying for a single person, the chance of just buying food that will spoil increases, so it could be loss
