  • Dr. Anger is a true dog whisperer. We took our rescue chihuahua Vespa into the office for her senior exam. The backstory on Vespa is that she had been through several foster homes due to her age and is "skittish". Yet, she has proved to be such a great and loyal dog. However, when she has visited Vets for visits, she is scared and we have to deal with a week's worth of trauma. With Dr Anger, Vespa didn't scream or shiver as she typically does with unfamiliar faces. Typically the poor Vet techs have to wrap her up in a towel so that she won't bite them and take her to the back for her exam and put a muzzle on her (if don't ask me to put it on her). During her exam, she was calm and normal (and not screaming, crying) which really put me at ease. Most importantly when she came home, she did not return traumatized. She didn't experience any upset stomachs, ultra-clingy, etc. Kudos to Dr. Anger and her team for making Vespa's and my visit stress-free :). She is compassionate and really has a special connection with animals.
