My Girlfriend and I just recently visited this place and I must say I was expecting it to be better, there was a lot of hype surrounding this place but in all honesty... it's okay. Maybe I'm being too critical since it opened so recently but I was expecting more sharks. They lead you through a maze of exhibits and the whole time you are thinking "oh they must be saving the best for last, they will probably have an awesome tank with a lot of sharks!" And sadly to say this is not the case... I got pretty excited because that was the main attraction kinda like going to Jurassic Park to see a T-Rex. I think what was most irritating is that there were signs as to what was in each tank and it said there was hammerheads (my favorite shark) and there wasn't a single one.
Don't get me wrong this place is amazing for the fact that there is nothing else like it here in Arizona but the fact of the matter is it still feels unfinished... like they should have taken their time and open later so that it would be amazing from the start. I also think a lot of the animals are still adapting to their new habitats. I think everyone should go at least once, I'll check it out in the future and then see if it's better and change me review but this is as it stands. With it in this condition I feel the 35 a person was hard to pay...
Pros:
Big place.
Cool sea animals I haven't seen before.
Otters!
Seals!
Nice staff.
Cons
Feels unfinished still.
Some of the bigger tanks have fewer fish than expected.
Cost of entering is too high for what you get.
Is it suppose to smell outside?
