| - This place was easy to get to and since the class I was attending was being held at the hotel, it was extremely convenient.
EVERY employee I ran across addressed me. Every one. Very impressive.
The staff was very helpful. All my questions were answered quickly. I felt comfortable because I believed I was being looked after.
The class - the room set up was great. The water was regularly refilled. The food at lunch was very good.
I filled out the survey on my last day. Everything had been outstanding. My favorite thing about my stay? The BED!!! Seriously, I've stayed at Sheratons before and their beds and pillows are the bomb!
I really wanted to give the place five stars, but I noticed two things on my last day. I included this on my survey, so it seems fair to put it here. There were hairs on the ceiling of my bathroom. Not a LOT, just a few.. but it looked like they had been there a while. My hope is my pointing it out will bring attention to it as they clean rooms in the future. The other thing, and the lighting was just right, but the wall behind the bed, and probably all the others, was DUSTY! Who thinks to dust the walls, right? Well, I hope after my comment they take a look and realize the walls really ARE dusty. I bet they will.
I had breakfast at Hemisphere every morning. The bacon was freakin' amazing! Well, it was amazing the first two days... perfectly crisp and delicious. Something odd happened the third day. The scrambled eggs which were quite wet, but good the first two days were dry the third day. The bacon was not crisp the third day. Oh, this was the morning of the 10th. If the owners are looking at this... take a look at who cooked that morning. The quality of the breakfast on the 10th was not as good as the other days.
I was thrilled to find the bar had Great Lakes on tap. I suppose this is pretty standard in Cleveland, but still. I didn't expect it at the "airport hotel".
I had room service one night and it was delivered quickly and deliciously.
Overall the stay and everything about the class was top notch. Clean up the rooms a bit and you'll get a five star review from me.
Seriously, thanks to everyone at this hotel. The really made me feel at home.
One more thing. I left my glasses at the hotel. I called, they found them and will be shipping them back to me. They made no mention of me paying for shipping, so I assume this service to make up for my forgetfulness is on the house. Just another great experience.
