  • This company is a SCAM, stay away, never call them or you will regret it. I used my home warranty company to fix a leak in the kitchen and the plumber recommended AZ Flood Squad. What I later found out is that AZ Flood Squad pays him to hand out their card and he gets a few hundred bucks if they get a job with his recommendation. This is pretty normal in this line of work. The two techs that came out were very nice and everything seemed legit. Here is where the 1 star rating comes into play. Their techs missed the next FOUR appointments with no calls to cancel. If you have to take time off of work to get these matters handled than you can understand the frustration I've had to deal with. You wait around all day and nobody calls or shows. The scam is this: since your insurance company pays for everything they will leave the fans there as long as they can, days or a week past it being necessary (the smallest leak with a few fans and 1 dehumidifier they charge the insurance company $300+ a day while you pay the electric bill). Remember these fans aren't ceiling fans, they're loud, big, and obnoxious. They told me 3 days plus or minus in the beginning, when they finally came out its now been about 10 days. It would have been more but I finally got a hold of the manager Brad. When calling the front desk for customer service you will get Gloria. Gloria is very nice but can do nothing for you and doesn't understand customer service. When I asked about the missed appointments she always had an excuse that didn't explain or answer anything. Her response was that the techs made their own schedules that day. ??? Ok so the techs made their schedules that day fine, I get that but what does that have to do with the fact nobody came or made a simple phone call to reschedule. When I finally got a hold of the manager Brad and explained the situation to him he countered with we only show 3 missed appointments (Gloria made an appointment but never told the techs so I waited around all day Saturday for them so it was four). I think he interprets that as a good average because he barely apologized and you could tell he just wanted to get me off the phone. I read another review for this company by a guy name Cody and our stories are almost identical. Just please stay away or you will regret it.
