| - I would give the place a higher review if a few certain aspects were...better.
So to begin with check in and check out are good. Usually easy and welcoming. Parking is an additional 15$. Also, There is one man who helps with luggage and carrying things up if needed. He is always very nice and helpful.
The rooms themselves are pretty standard. We've stayed here a few times in both the preferred levels and also the club levels. The Preferred level rooms are somewhat smaller than the Club Levels, but you get what you pay for. The rooms are for the most part clean and stocked with shampoo and shave cream. The downside of the room is definitely the noise, but with staying that close to the airport, what can you expect. The planes take off every 15 minutes or so daily. There is however a break between 11p and 6 am when there are no flights. So if you need to sleep earlier or later than those times perhaps earplugs!
The pool is nicely heated and recently redone. It does have a sharp drop in depth so be cautious if you have children. There is also a hot tub with jets! There is a dome top cover over the whole pool area that in the day time you can see the planes fly over, which is really cool.
The WORST part of the Sheraton experience is if you eat in their downstairs lounge area (not Chop, but the lounge inside the hotel). The service is way understaffed and for the most part inattentive. The bar is a different story. The bar tenders have all be wonderful and attentive to the drink orders and are open to suggestions or requests. The restaurant though...not so much. A word of advice, if you know you are going to have 2 glasses of wine with dinner, order it at the same time, as getting a second drink anywhere into your meal is damn near impossible. Also, the wait time for your bill is dreadful also. Its not a quick in and out, The food itself isn't too bad, and there is a pool table if you are so inclined.
