  • Toronto was experiencing a bit of a heat wave, so what should one do? Go to the movies! It's inside and the AC is usually blasting! It's not the first time I've done this. Went to see the new Now You See Me sequel. It was only playing in the VIP theater which meant, a higher ticket price but a server brings you whatever you want, and you get to sit in these bigger cushy seats. I've been to Cinepolis in San Diego, and they offer continuous service throughout the movie, and the chairs recline. This was not offered here. Although I do like the full bar but I didn't take advantage or I would've fallen asleep. I didn't like the little table that swings toward you, because it felt higher than the chair arm. There were probably 9 people total in the whole theater, but why this annoying couple had to sit in the row behind me to the right was beyond me. You do choose your seats and they could've sat down in front. One of them had some nasal problem and it was just annoying! Other than that, it's a great place to come to. I ordered some churros which were decent. Again, on a hot day, definitely go see a movie!
