My date and I ended up at the Ritz Carlton to go here following the recommendation of a doorman at the Japanese place across the street. We asked the desk clerk for directions and he said go right up to the 15th floor. When we got there, there was another couple who rode up in the elevator with us, but the hostess was not at her station. When she showed up a third couple had joined the other one by then. They were told that it would be a 90 minute wait for a group of four to be seated. My date and I were told 2 hours for a table for 2. The gentle man who rode up with us in the elevator had peeked through the doors when we got there and said the place was empty and the wait was rediculous, and the four of them left. My date and I did too because it would have been last call by the time they let us in according to the wait told to us. We went back down to the lobby bar instead. I think the hostess didn't like the look of one of the four ahead of us, and I'm not talking about a dress code since the men were all in suits and ties and the ladies in dresses.
