  • Truly, a Madison Institution. If you live in Madison or in the surrounding areas, you know about Greenbush Bakery. The fact that I am writing a review is irrelevant. You already know that the place is great. You already know that you need to get there early because they sell out quick. You already know that their fritters are the size of hub caps. You already know that the donuts are some of the best you will ever taste. If you have never heard of the place, stop denying yourself a phenomenal culinary experience. Stop by and pick up one, two, a half-dozen or a whole dozen. Something so simple and flavorful at a low price, in the palm of your hand. (Or, two hands, if you are having a fritter.)
