  • My personally experienced most certainly will differ from others, but I had quite the tough day today at this DMV. For a Saturday, it was PACKED. Line was extremely long, but got great information from a very nice gentlemen at the information desk once I finally was there. Got all the info I needed including faxing an SR-22 file to the DMV. Waited an hour for it, got my spot in the que, was informed my insurance company takes around 2 hours to fax the file, I thought no problem, I'll check in then, waited another hour, got the same answer except then it still was there. (I should clarify that this doesn't pertain to the DMV as it does more so to the Insurance Company for faxing, but you'll understand why I mention it in a moment.) Got another spot in line to wait for it, once I got my window which was 30-something, I spoke to a lady and told her I just need to see if the document came in yet, which she rudely stated, "You know you could have just spoke to someone between windows 10-11". I was shocked by her tone, but then realized it's a DMV and everyone that works there seems to want to kill themselves. So I understood and asked periodically for the file, and they did not have it still. The DMV closes, and I'm there another 2 hours waiting on this file, and once I got to speak to one more employee there, my answer from her was also very rude stating that, "If the file isn't already there by closing they can't help me, as per the supervisors request". I had no problem with it if she mentioned it nicely, but she had a very nasty and sarcastic tone. I believe she was located in Window 36 as point of reference she was an older women. The whole point of all of this is that people need to treat others as humans. I know the DMV sucks for everyone, but when you make the conscious decision to be employed at the establishment, it's your obligation to provide customer experience in a somewhat positive attitude, not cheesy smiley all the time, but most certainly not being a bitch about it. There was definitely 2-3 other staff that were very friendly and helpful, but the general vibe of the place definitely is depressing and monotone as you may get to experience. Again, everyone will have a different experience, but you definitely will see this and understand where I'm coming from. Wish DMV's acted more like adults than snotty nosed brats. (And that's coming from a 22 year old saying this..)
