Reviewing a restaurant that is part of a national cain seems a little odd, but this is Dunkin'... something needs to be said about which ones are have what to offer. Thankfully, this chain is not just prevalent in Boston anymore as there are several here.
I work near this particular Downtown Dunkin Donuts and I love it. The coffee is the my liquid life-force most mornings. Typically i wouldn't pay for coffee when I can get it free at work, but the coffee in my office is terrible... just awful... and agin... LIFE-FORCE!
The donuts are usually fresh and they make a new pot of coffee about every 3 minutes in the morning. There is often a line during the morning rush, but do not let this deter you. The staff is great, and will they move people through pretty quick.
Recently I've fallen in love with one thing I discovered: Order a pumpernickel bagel, and get the reduced fat spinach and artichoke cream cheese. Just trust me on this one. It is like spring has spring in your mouth with freshness, and the bagel gives you that hearty "time to wake up and kick the face off this day" feeling.
There is one girl here who will fill pretty ANY travel mug for the 99¢ although the sometimes cranky manager with the moustache will not be happy. I've never asked for a 99¢ refill, by the way... she just does it. The refill for a larger travel mug is like $1.29, so it's still not bad.
Enjoy.
