  • We decided to try Defalco's after seeing it on DDD. The grocery store is stocked with lots of Italian goodies (pasta, sauce, cookies, olives, etc...) We ordered: 1. Il Purista (5 stars): VERY flavorful and packed with lots of yummy prosciutto! 2. Calzone (4.5 stars): Pepperoni and spinach. Takes a long time but well worth the wait if you like lots of "bread". 3. Pizza (4 stars): 1/2 Margarita and 1/2 Mushroom. There is no fresh basil on the margarita pizza...disappointing :( Overall, the food was good and we love the hole in the wall joints so we'll be back the next time we are in Scottsdale!
