This restaurant on the outer rim of the Paris Hotel & Casino is truly unique in the sense that not only do they offer great choices of French cooking but the dining experience can be quite amazing if your party happen to be seated outside during the evenings overlooking Bellagio's fountain shows.
Since taking outdoors night photos of the food was quite difficult with my mobile phone, I was only able to get a few good shots.
For the appetizers we got the smoked salmon, crispy duck confit, wild mushroom tartare - the wild mushroom starter was outrageously delicious. The duck confit was quite good, also.
The entrees included Atlantic salmon, skate wing and seared scallops. I really like the tender texture of the skate and wished the skate was braised instead of pan-fried but that's how the restaurant prepared it.
For the wines, we had some excellent French Bordeaux which was smooth and delightful. And for the desserts, we ordered the fruit sorbet, salted chocolate caramel tart and gala apple tarte tatin. I think everyone was quite full and too mesmerized by the fountain shows across the street to get a good sense of the dessert.
