  • Cleaners shrunk my comforter by 10" in width. Barely reaches the side of the bed now. Called to advise and was told to bring it in and they will make it right. When I brought it in... they backpedaled and insisted that they only steamed the comforter and it could NOT POSSIBLY have been shrunk by them. I'm like...."don't think it shrank in my vehicle!" I advised I cannot accept their response and requested to see their business license/occupancy permit so I know who to serve... at which point they refused. For the record... in my younger days I owned a dry clean pickup and delivery business and subcontracted the actual cleaning to several third parties. I am acutely familiar with this drill of DENY DENY DENY. In this instance it's 100% verifiably their fault and I will pursue this win or lose.
