  • PLEASE READ BEFORE GOING HERE!!!! I'm 19 and this was my first experience buying a car. Walking in without much knowledge, this dealership definitely took advantage of me. From the start, our salesman rushed us. When I asked to look at more than one car on the lot, he rolled his eyes. When I saw a car I liked, he was very vague on its condition. Most importantly, he LIED about the damage on it, saying it was "minor", but when I paid for the CarFax, the damage was moderate. Upon asking if this precious accident on the car would lower the price at all, my salesman told me No, it would actually INCREASE the price because they had to fix it. ?????!!! When I asked for an interest rate so that I could estimate monthly payments for 3 or 4 years, they refused to give me an answer until I sat down to BUY the car. However, feeling that this was a pristine car, I went home to get paperwork to purchase it. When I returned an hour later, our salesman had taken on another client. We had to have another, different salesman take me on the test drive. Deciding to buy the car, the Manager made SEVERAL VULGAR comments towards me. He claimed he was "joking" and to "pay him no mind" but I am a 19 year old female and it made me beyond uncomfortable. The whole experience took SIX hours, as the manager kept speaking with other salesmen about their sales while closing on mine. It was outrageous. I went ahead and purchased the car, but when I showed my father the paperwork, he explained that the $1,000 fee for the dealerships 9% interest rate was clearly adding 10% to the interest rate. They also didn't tell me that the car hadn't had its 50,000 mike checkup, which is an expensive one. AND!!!! Leaving the dealership, the car had NO GAS, so little that the needle was below the minimum line. There was also a low tire pressure sign, and that morning THE TIRE WAS FLAT! ADAMS AUTO COMPANY REFUSED TO PAY FOR THE TOW BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP (we had to tow because the bolts we're screwed way too tight to undo). Overall, a HORRIBLE buying experience. I could've saved A LOT of money, due to the damage, condition of the car, and the $1,000 fee. PLUS the tow back to the dealership. VERY unprofessional salesmen, rude and vulgar. DO NOT SHOP HERE. I wish I had researched this dealership before I bought here. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!
