Me and my boyfriend first tried Wheat Sheaf on a Tuesday during their half price wing night and both of us really enjoyed their wings. Not too fatty or saucy and at half the price we were more than satisfied. We returned last Tuesday ordered a good amount of food - some drinks and nachos as well as a few pounds of wings each. By the end of our meal I had barely gotten through a third of my 1 pound of wings and my boyfriend (who's eyes were bigger than his stomach) had not come close to finishing half of the 2 pounds he orders. We asked our waitress to pack up our leftovers and were pretty disappointed when she told us that she wouldn't be able to give us the half price deal if we wanted to take them home. What's more...if we refused to pay full price, those perfectly good wings would get taken to the back and thrown out. Obviously we paid full price for the wings and took the wings home - but we lost complete respect for the Sheaf and it pretty much dampened our whole experience. Our waitress tried to justify it saying that it was similar to an all you can eat deal but it just doesn't sit well with me that they'd rather throw out your perfectly good leftovers than let you leave with the deal that they advertised (without the fine print). I'll likely never return just out of spite and principle but if you do decide to go...bring Tupperware and a big bag lol
