  • Some friends of ours went through tahoe springs for water and never had any complaints. my husband and i live on Nellis AFB.. and that was the first problem apparently. the driver we had, Oscar, was definitely lazy. first thing he asked my husband was to "come back tomorrow" to initially deliver our water and cooler. Because he has to get a pass to get on base. then, after having the cooler in our house for a couple weeks. the flow from the spout was almost non existent. I called to schedule a cooler swap. the guy in the office made a note to have the driver call me at MY phone number. also asked about a cooler with hot water. the guy said they "don't have those for insurance reasons" ..... you're a water company that doesn't offer coolers with hot water because of your "insurance"..... ohhkkaayyy.... no call from the driver, but they tried emailing my husband who was deployed. the driver left two more jugs of water, and left a note on the receipt to "call back with a good phone number" called back and finally go ahold of the driver, who kept arguing with me when to come out because my work schedule (m-f, 7-3) was not convenient for his schedule, and had to "ask his boss to come out on a saturday" we decided that i would leave the cooler on my front porch, and he swaps it out while i'm at work. that irritated me enough so i called to cancel service, and left my 5 full jugs on the porch with the cooler. that still was a pain for me to drain half the jug, and move everything outside. he called me during the day, complaining about having to go to the far side gate that everyone with bigger trucks has to go through. And also cause he "forgot his wallet" at home, which had his base pass and he was driving around town without his license... I got so fed up and irritated at the laziness and incompetency that I loaded everything up in the back of my car, drove from nellis to this god awful area of town, and gave everything back myself. the guy at the desk kept interrupting me when i was telling him everything that has happened, and seems like this is a common thing that happens with drivers. he wrote me a credit receipt and basically rushed me out of the office. fine with me. i didn't want to stay there any longer than i had to. what really made me laugh though. was the motivational poster that was hanging on the wall behind his desk. saying "if you don't take care of the customer, then someone else will" AND THEN THIS HAPPENED A MONTH LATER my husband used his discover card to pay for everything, and the information was written down to use it in the future on the account. he was looking over his purchases and saw a $350 purchase from a Guitar Center in california, using his billing information, and shipping the guitar to a trailer park in vegas off of Stewart and the 515. tahoe springs was one of the last purchases before his deployment. and the only one where card information would have been stored. thankfully the idiot that ordered it didn't put their trailer number on the order, so the guitar went back to the store. not sure what's going on with this company, but i'm really glad we're no longer doing business with them. they seriously need to reevaluate their customer service, business practices, and security of customer's information....
