rev:text	THE most horrific "counseling" experience I have ever had (and there have been many). Go ANYWHERE else. ANYWHERE! First, her husband takes your credit card number in order to make an initial appointment, "Just in case you don't show up." Nothing like "give me access to your bank account" to make me feel safe. In that initial call when he takes your financial information, there is no warning that the "counseling" office (and I use that term loosely) has animals in it. Only when she guides you to the room does she flippantly ask, "You're not allergic to cats are you?" No, and good thing I don't hate them, or the nappy dog that greeted me too. The "counseling" room is disgusting. Couches are covered in cat hair, ceiling tiles with old water stains, an imposing fish tank that is not calming an any way. The chair in which she sits is nowhere near the couch where my husband and I sat, so it was great feeling as though she had no interest in any intimacy or sitting anywhere near us. And I could barely hear her. She began dropping F-bombs almost immediately, and rolled her eyes at any other attempts at therapy we had made before. She doesn't listen, at all. Repeatedly asked us the same questions and simply didn't hear us. I had to educate her on Elisabeth Kubler-Ross and she ignorantly informed me that I HAD to go through certain steps in grief. Ummmm, I don't "have" to do anything. Her speech was slurred and incoherent and it often appeared she would fall asleep at any moment. My husband was digging his fingers into my leg for two reasons: to keep me from fleeing and because he couldn't believe we were paying this woman $125. I repeat, go ANYWHERE else.
