  • ***BUSINESS IS NOW CLOSED DOWN WITHOUT ANY WARNING TO STAFF, DOCTORS, OR PATIENTS*** DEAR K|E MEDICAL GROUP OWNER(S): I was just informed that you came in 2 days ago and fired your entire staff of 50 and also fired all of your doctors without any notice to anyone. You basically kicked everyone out to the curb with nowhere to go. To top that off you left ALL of the thousands of patients with NO NOTICE whatsoever - not even letting the one's with current appointments know that the office was closed. All of your professional doctors have been left to find new practices and were also LOCKED OUT of their current patients database; essentially leaving them high and dry without any patients contact information. You that are responsible for this travesty should be put in jail for good and keys thrown out! I am reporting this unlawful matter to the proper authorities, the state attorney generals office, the medical board and every other possible group and board that I can in order to inform them of your illegal and very harmful actions! You had a legal requirement set forth by the NV NRS & State Medical Board to follow set procedures and timelines for closing your offices. Instead you followed NO such laws! How could anyone in their right minds just close an office of such stature without any previous warning, notice or any form of communication? You have 100's of senior citizens and 1000's of other patients and other's who heavily relied upon the doctors at your offices. I was also told by one of your office staff that your doctors were not even told of this news - only to come into work to find that the place was now closed right there and then. It was also mentioned that if patients wanted their files that they would have to be there today 11/14 by 4pm or tomorrow 11/15 by 4pm and personally come into the office to pick them up. Otherwise they are out of luck! I hope that all of the doctors in your practice sue the living hell out of you shameful owners! To anyone reading this - please DO NOT BLAME THE DOCTORS - they knew nothing about the owners closing this place down; only coming to work to find that they were fired. You should have given patients, doctors and employees no less than several months notice of shutting your doors. Instead you gave them NO NOTICE - closing everything up in 2 days. When I came in to pick up my records today, I found that the K|E sign over the receptionists station was yanked off of the wall along with plasma TV's. I mean seriously, did the owner think he was heading for the hills with the tv's and other stuff obviously yanked from the walls. It looked like the Christmas Scrooge had come into town to grab his belongings off of the wall! And to top it off....all this right before the holidays! SHAME SHAME SHAME ON THE OWNER(S) OF THIS MEDICAL GROUP - REST-ASSURED I WILL BE INFORMING EVERYONE OF YOUR INHUMANE WAYS OF CLOSING DOWN THIS PRACTICE. To all the patients....you are going to have to seek out your existing doctors on your own now once they become re-established. That is what they stated to me today. Don't despair...you will find them again hopefully :) Good Luck to everyone in despair over this....
