I recently visited this restaurant for a quick bite to eat with some vegan friends as we seen the menu had some vegan options. We were surprisingly disappointed in the waffles that were the main it on the menu, everything was paired with these waffles. The staff were per occupied with changing music, talking to one another and making more of these horrid waffles. No smile or acknowledgement when we walked through the door, one man simply stated "how many" and then "sit here". the place wasn't busy 4-5 tables full. i had the eggs Benedict as m vegan friends had the veggie waffle sandwich. This was a horrid mix of soggy tomatoes, black avocados and peppers. They had a horrible watery version of Aunt Jemima syrup.. keep in mind THEY ARE A WAFFLE HOUSE! Given we are in Canada it is easy to get quality maple syrup across the street!!
the one star was for the coffee....
