| - $1 (raw) oyster Wednesdays is the only thing that brought me here. We were a party of 6 and while we wanted to order more, our waitress only let us order 2 dozen oysters at a time so that the oyster bar wouldn't get "backed up". You can imagine how fast we finished it. I have gotten better sized raw oysters for the same deal at Oyster Bar in Suncoast so imagine my surprise when upon receiving our oysters, they were extremely small. We also ordered the steak tartare which was bomb. The poached egg and runny yolk was the perfect addition to the appetizer. I only wish they provide more toast with one order. We did extra order toast, but I actually didn't notice if they charged is for it. The other item we ordered was the Rockefeller oysters - at a whopping $4/each. I'm not too fond of cooked oysters, so they were alright to me, nothing special.
Ambience alone, I really wish I could give this restaurant 5 stars however, the food and the service lacked. The service here was terrible. Between the 6 of us, we ordered 3 entrees all with side dishes. All of the entrees came before the side dishes, forcing us to wait while our food got cold. No exaggeration, myself and my boyfriend waited at least 10 minutes before our potatoes came and by that time our prime rib was cold. At a restaurant that wasn't too busy, we spent almost 3 hrs with majority of the time waiting for something we ordered.
