Finally made it to Vintner Grill for my birthday dinner a few weeks back. Overall, we had a good experience. I really liked the décor and you didn't feel at all like you were in a business park.
We were quickly seated by the hostess when we arrived (she could have been friendlier) and ended up between two larger, and louder, tables. I don't blame the restaurant - it just got really loud being by these tables. Eventually they both left and it calmed down a bit.
The food was very good. We shared a meat and cheese platter, which was delicious. We followed with a Italian sausage flatbread and the braised lamb Bolognese. Both were very good. The meal was finished with a birthday dessert, which did not disappoint.
The only reason I am not giving this visit a higher rating is because of the service. Our server was very friendly, but he seemed to go missing at times. He was always apologetic when he returned, but it just happened a little too much. We only had two courses, but we were there for three hours. Don't get me wrong, I like to linger for a fine meal, but this was a little too long.
