| - Only two words can describe my latest experience here... Oy & Vay.
The food that I had was quite delicious (lettuce wraps, pineapple fried rice, chicken skewers, garlic edamame) so that's why they earned 3 stars.
The deduction, however, comes from the HUGE communication problem with the chefs when it comes to making changes due to food allergies. Lost in translation, maybe?
Listen carefully, if you can not eat shellfish, dairy, gluten, etc. you may want to pass on dining here. Two of the friends I came with have severe (life threatening) food allergies and have never felt so frustrated, annoyed and disappointed while dining out before. It was made crystal clear about the allergies and yet two dishes were still served to them with the allergic ingredients in them. The server seemed to think it was funny, but we didn't find the humor in it. Then our food was cleared away before we were even finished eating it. To make matters worse, when I mentioned it to him, he just laughed it off again. Sadly, nothing was ever compensated from our bill, and two of the girls ordered pizza when they got home. Dinner fail.
