  • SCAM. FOR PROFIT. Vets get almost nothing!!! I used to be a fan of this place, kind of, as now and then valuable things would get past their scrutiny that you could get for a good price. We recently donated a ton of really nice stuff to the Vietnamveterans.org---one of those trucks where they come by and it says "veterans pick up donate" on the side of it. I thought I was giving to the Vietnam veterans. Just today I was at the Red White and Blue Thrift Store on Route 51 and saw two items that were 100% positively mine, jacked up for an exorbitant amount of money! I was really shocked. I asked a woman at the cash register, who had been there for quite a few years, what the connection is to the veterans, and she said they get a LITTLE bit of money from the donations. I almost died. I will never ever shop at that Scum Hole again! Its a total scam, F that.
