Most big retailers that I'm used to going to for clothes (Burlington Coat Factory, TJ Maxx, and Marshalls being the worst) have had their men's section shrink to less than a third of their size. I get it, cater to your clientele.. but expect me not to shop there anymore when the selection is absurdly small now. (Ranting over)
I've never heard of Dillards but had time to kill before my flight so said why not stop by and see. Wow. The selection for men's clothing was the largest I've ever seen. I'm one of the guys who hate shopping for clothes and I spent a good amount of time rummaging through their huge selection of men's tops and pants. I had like 18 flannels in my hand, by far the most I've ever had in one trip to a single store.
I don't care if the place wasn't the best looking on the inside. I don't care if the men's section was in, what felt like a separate addition to the store. There were rack after rack of clothing for me to choose from. That's all I really care about. Again, can't stress enough how amazing the selection for men's clothing was. If I lived here, is visit here on a regular basis.
