This was our first Aloha Festival in AZ and I will say it's much better than the one in Seattle. Tons of vendors and way more food vendors. I believe there were 2 main stages with music and tons of activities. We did not realize that there were more than one area for food and stopped at the first section. Wish we went to the other side though. My girls enjoyed the ramen from one stand but the rice that was with the teriyaki chicken plate was mushy. We got malasadas and it definitely was not made from scratch. It was ok, but I could've made pilsbury malasadas at home. We got plate lunches from Moki's and while the flavor was good the portion size was very small for the price, disappointing. The laulau plate was a joke, no Mac salad and the cutest scoop of rice this local girl has ever seen. I mean maybe for a baby?! Come on, if your going to do Hawaiian plates and charge and arm and leg at least give enough food.
