I guess I am not the first one to state that service is awful in this great place. The food is consistent, and the fact that is is a local place, using local product is what made us come back over and over. But today was just a disaster. Waiting for someone to approach your table for 10 minutes, to finally have this waitress whose face loudly shows "I hate my job, I would rather be dead than being here" is a huge turn off. We love this place and went there to see if we could organize a brunch for 20 people; but after today's experience, I would be embarrassed to bring anyone there. I realized after reading other reviews on Yelp that I am far to be the only one complaining about service, and am wondering when changes will occur. There are other local businesses around where I can spend my money. Needless to say, the $1 tip I left today was way too much for the "service" received. Management: retrain your staff, be more selective in the hiring process, and teach them how to put a smile on their face.
