| - My experience with office team was not a good one at all.
I had an issue with one of the "recruiting agents" they had on for that week. I'm a recent grad(with a lot of academic experience) but don't have much work experience, and as such I can defn get academic references and such but had trouble with my work experiences. Unfortunately, a major reference for me I could get a statement of employment from the establishment but since my supervisor had quit and another retired I couldn't get a hold of a reference. So this agent I spoke with, firstly, straight up told me that she had little to work with, instead of guiding me and helping me out told me not to bother with applying here, and basically meant she didn't want to waste her time. As she had a problem with that one reference, I contacted a more recent employer to see if I could get a reference from them and once they agreed, I updated my CV and added this new job entry, and when I called and told her that, she basically accused me of "changing my whole CV", yes by adding ONE entry...At which point I told her, I added one entry how is that changing my whole CV, that doesn't even make any sense?! Instead of helping me and if she really thought I was suspicious for whatever reason, all she had to do was HER JOB of a background check or validation from my references.
She was super pretentious, downright rude and not helpful at all, which is the opposite of what you expect from a temp agency staffer/recruiter. I do agree with a previous reviewer who said - "you'd think you were applying for a CEO position in a major corporation from all the hoops they make you jump through". I bet you though it is just this one location and this one employee that unfortunately left me having such a distasteful experience.
