| - My mom and I both have been patients here for 2 years. I go in once a week for massage therapy and spinal adjustments as well as monthly pain management visits. Mom goes on an as needed basis totaling about 12 visits a year.
With more than 10 massage therapists on staff, 3 chiropractors who offer 3 different styles of adjustments, a full time physical therapist with a huge work room, a pain management specialist, a great, HAPPY, helpful, knowledgeable staff, most of the latest high tech equipment and a beautifully appointed, spa like office these guys are truly one stop shopping for pain management and over all health.
They have an unbelievable 1st time visitors offer on Groupon so don't miss that and be sure to review them after your 1st visit to get that free Starbucks certificate.
The massage therapists are varied in age, depth of knowledge and techniques so be sure to talk to one of the doctors BEFORE booking a massage so you get directed to someone perfect for your needs.
Their pain management doctor, Dr. Bonilla, is amazing. No 5 min talk then shoot you up with pain killers here. He sits with you for up to an hour and discusses your problems, your desired outcome and then he talks to you about what he recommends for treatment. They offer some true cutting edge techniques for pain management and migraine therapy. I was plagued with debilitating migraines but after a few treatments with Dr. Bonilla I have been migraine free for 6 months now. No pills just a few treatments with a special piece of equipment I can't pronounce. LOL
On to their chiropractors. No new age mumbo jumbo these guys are straight up professional doctors. Each one of them specializes in a different technique for spinal adjustments so if you go and don't like your adjustment or if the doctor rubs you wrong, try again. Seriously, these guys don't invest in emotions when it comes to your care. Finding the right chiropractor is probably more important than finding the right general practitioner doctor. So if at first you don't succeed try try again. I guarantee you'll find the right doctor in one of them and you won't be made to feel uncomfortable if you tell the front staff you want a different chiropractor.
Complaints:
If I had to complain about anything I guess it would be parking and lack of office space.
Parking: Unfortunately their office is situated next to a busy restaurant, orthodontist and gym so parking can be difficult at times and by that I mean you may have to park 6 spaces away instead of in their front door.
Office space: The owner had denoted so much space to massage therapy, pain management and physical therapy that the day to day office work areas are rather cramped and can spill out into the patient area. I only mention this because coming from a government employed background I believe office work shouldn't be seen or heard by a health patient but these guys have put a premium on patient space instead of their own office space so you should feel good about it. I have NEVER heard any patient discussions so no need to worry there, just things like their office manager has to share space in the front reception area. That's the kind of thing I'm talking about. So yeah, no REAL complaints. LOL
Conclusion:
As you can tell I love this place but be aware, I went thru 4 other chiropractic offices before landing here full time, even for pain management, because I'm picky. I've been told I'm difficult (that was one of the chiropractic offices I left). I guess since I'm proactive about my health management and don't take everything a doctor says at face value but like to do some research as well, that might seem difficult to a doctor with a God complex, which these guys don't have. Advanced Back and Neck Care will either provide you with the info you require/request or they encourage you to do the research yourself. 100% transparency, no hidden agendas, no over pricing, no pushy sales, just a healthy, happy environment to put you at your greatest ease and help you deal with whatever life throws you in to.
