| - The first and only time I ever visited HTB was in December 2012 and I had a terribly unprofessional experience with Carlos P. I brought it up to the company privately afterwards and was reassured it'd be addressed and they offered me a complimentary massage with one of their female therapists, but I wasn't interested in ever going back. After seeing that a very similar incident occurred to another customer and it's now 2015, it's sickening that Carlos P. is still employed there. So I'm going to repost my original review (which seems to have been removed at some point) in hopes that it saves someone else from being violated by Carlos P.

I recently visited the Healing Touch Bodyworks location on Tatum and Union Hills just this past weekend. A massage was greatly needed and my boyfriend was happy to have also received a Groupon for the experience. Going in, I was not uncomfortable as I had had professional massages in the past. But this time was very different. I took off my top but left my underwear on and got beneath the massage table's sheets. Everything was cozy and calming.
Carlos P. was my therapist and he was good with the small talk. He put just the right amount of pressure where it was needed and really gave my muscles the attention they needed (mainly my shoulders, neck, and lower back).
But there were a few cases where I felt extremely uncomfortable. I never spoke out, but I was just wishing in my mind that the clock would move faster so I could get out of there. I never spoke out as I already felt very vulnerable being half naked in a room alone with this man. But as many times as I've had professional massages, I've never had such an experience and I do not wish to have one similar to it again.
First, I was laying face down on my stomach and he was tending to my lower back. One forearm was on one hip as to apply pressure while he put his
hand on the underside of my hip (between my body and the table). Each time he'd try to rotate my hips, he'd move his underside hand closer and closer to my crotch area to the point where his finger tips were on the crevice of my groin. He did this with both sides of my hips. This is where I began to feel uncomfortable.
Later in the massage he had me flip over and massage my neck. He was sitting in a stool just above my head and positioned both of his hands on the underside of my neck (between my neck and the table) and began massaging the back of my neck. For a good 5 mins. he concentrated on this area and all the while he had his face literally on mine. I could feel his chin barely grazing my lips repeatedly. He then proceeded to massage my temples and while he did that he used his thumbs to caress (not massage -- he would lightly caress) my lips.
Thankfully, shortly there after I was happy to get clothed and leave. The massage was over and I was extremely uncomfortable. It's disappointing because after talking with the woman at the front desk, they offer great healthcare packages and specialists for needs I could see myself going to in the future, but Carlos literally rubbed me the wrong way and I cannot foresee myself ever going back or recommending the place to others. Again, I've had professional massages in the past many times performed by both male and female therapists but this was the first encounter I've had where I've felt extremely violated.
