| - This is shabu" restaurant & I love shabu". It was my first time.
The host will sit you & the server will come to give the menu also asked have you ever been there. If you said no, they will explain how it work.
The First thing to do choose your broth.. original, oxtail, tomato, spicy (3 levels) for individual pot also they have yin yang (1 pot for sharing with your party).
If you eat meat or seafood, they have chicken, beef, pork, seafood. You can order combo beef ($19) for your party, I believed have 3 differents type of beef in one plate and with only $1 you can choose your noodle (they have 3 different flavor..original, green tea, taro).
They have a menu alacarte for raw meat & other food like pot sticker or cook lamb or rice bowl dishes but the fun part, they have a conveyor belt next to your table ( which I like). You can grab anything you want, they charge each small plate depands of the color's plate. In that conveyor belt have vegetables, shrimp, scallop, beef ball, oysters, different types of mushroom, shrimp ball (have a surprise inside, REALLY RECOMMENDED delicious), quil eggs.
My friend like his tomato broth & I order spicy broth level 6. I like my broth but I wish they put all herbs like garlic, bay leaves and more other stuff in the pouch so it make us easy to grab out food because it is hard to find your food with a bunch of herb in the broth. Don't worry about getting not enough broth, they keep refill the broth for us.
They have buffet table style for your sauce to make your broth or dipping sauce like hot chili oil, sesame paste, green onion, minced garlic, cilantro, mushroom sauce ( HIGHLY RECCOMENDED!! You can mix with your rice) & other sauce also they have bachan like cucumber salad, beans sprout (kimchi flavor), edamame.
Oh BTW rice is separate, 99 cents each.
It is fun place to experience with a bunch of people & yes they have bar
